Friends is Walla Walla's own mentoring program.  Friends specializes in community-based mentoring since 1999.  As mentoring grows, Friends has developed special projects to serve the different populations that Walla Walla has.

ABC Pilot Program  ABC Pilot Program is unique to College Place.  The goal of the ABC Program is to create a site-based & community-based mentoring program in College Place where adult friends can be matched with a child in their own community.

Parent Education Workshops  Friends partnered with Blue Mountain Action Council to provide financial workshops for parents who are part of the Friends program.  In addition to the financial information, participants are exposed to other social services programs in Walla Walla which they can receive other services.

Mentoring Children of Incarcerated Parents (MCIP)  Friends partnered with Washington State Penitentiary to develop a referral system for inmates to find mentors for their children across the state and nation.
