Friends of Children of Walla Walla welcomes Dr. Mark G. Brown as Executive Director.

Our new Friends Executive Director, Dr. Mark G. Brown, comes to us from Seattle, where he most recently served as Associate Director of Family and Emergency Services for Hopelink, a large social services agency based in Redmond, which serves homeless and low-income clients in north and east King County.  Dr. Brown has twenty years of non-profit management experience in mental health and social services and has had a private practice in psychotherapy in Seattle for many years as well.

He has a varied educational background, with a BA in Religion, a Master’s Degree in Psychology and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. In addition, Dr. Brown is a professional musician and has just released a new CD with his friend, Paul West, entitled, “Words & Music”. He is very excited to be a part of Friends and will join the staff full time on February 8^th.
