Support Group Sessions:

Discussion groups for adult volunteers to learn from each other.

Special Topic Sessions:

Community members present on topics pertaining to special needs adult friends may face in working with their young friend. Volunteers are welcome to provide input on the selection of topics that they would find most helpful.

Group Special Events:

Monthly group event for adult friends and young friends (i.e. ice-skating party, planetarium, bowling) to enjoy at little or no-cost to the volunteer.  Many community businesses and organizations have helped Friends make these events sucessful.  Please see our photo gallery of the wide selection of events we have hosted for our volunteers.

On-going Match Support

Monthly E-bulletins:

Every volunteer receives a bulletin via email regarding monthly special events, calendar of events and community events, and other updates in the Friends program.
